Transparency & Reliability

We publish how we actually operate — uptime, backups, refunds, support and the issues we've fixed. No marketing spin. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Who We Are (Accountability)

LordCloud is operated by a registered Indian company. If something goes wrong, there is a real, accountable legal entity behind the service — not an anonymous reseller.

2. Uptime & Incident History

We target 99.9% uptime. Rather than quote a number we pick ourselves, we publish uptime and every incident on a public status page you can check at any time.

Methodology: uptime is measured by external third-party monitoring that pings our public services on a continuous interval; outages and maintenance are logged there with timestamps and resolution notes.

3. Backups: Frequency, Retention & Restoration

  • Off-site storage: backups are stored on Cloudflare R2 — physically separate from the hosting node — so your data survives even a complete node failure.
  • Frequency: automated daily snapshots of server data.
  • Retention: the most recent 7 daily backups are kept on a rolling basis.
  • Restoration: you can request a restore any time by opening a support ticket; our team restores from the latest available off-site backup.

We still strongly recommend keeping your own backups as well. See our Billing & Data Policy for full details.

4. Refund Policy (Eligibility & Timeline)

  • When refunds apply: only when our team confirms a technical fault on our end that we cannot resolve.
  • Window: the issue must be reported within 7 days of purchase.
  • Processing time: approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
  • Not eligible: change of mind, user-side misconfiguration, or requests after 7 days.

We publish this clearly so there are no surprises at checkout. Full policy: Refund Policy.

5. Support Channels & Response Targets

Every customer can reach a human. We publish our response targets so you know what to expect:

6. Independent Monitoring & Performance

We don't ask you to take our word for performance:

  • Uptime is tracked by external monitoring on our public status page.
  • Latency can be tested live from our homepage latency tool — connecting to our Indian nodes typically gives 10–30ms ping for Indian players versus 150ms+ from overseas hosts.
  • Hardware is published per plan: AMD Ryzen 9 / EPYC & Intel Xeon processors with NVMe SSD storage.

7. Changes We've Made for Customers

We take feedback seriously. Here are concrete changes we've shipped in 2026 in response to customer concerns:

  • Off-site automated backups added (Cloudflare R2) so data survives node failures — directly addressing past data-loss concerns.
  • Rewrote the refund policy to be clear and unambiguous about exactly when refunds apply, so customers aren't surprised.
  • Rewrote the billing policy with a clear grace period and renewal guidance, and a prominent "keep your own backups" notice.
  • Cancellation review process — cancellations are reviewed by a human instead of an instant one-click delete, reducing accidental data loss.
  • Published this transparency page and a public status page for accountability.
  • Blacklisted abusive upstream providers to protect network quality for customers.
